Is the environment safe and healthy?

Kreative Kids Learning Center uses a single point of entry into the facility and we monitor who enters and leaves the facility using surveillance cameras. The Center has video-tape monitoring of all infant/toddler and preschool classrooms. The Center has a full time maintenance staff to clean and care for the facility.

Are the staff experienced and caring?

Kreative Kids Learning Center has an experienced, credentialed staff, including staff who have achieved an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Our staff are passionate about their work and the children they care for. Find out more about our staff in the “Programs” section of the web-site.

Do the staff follow a developmentally appropriate curriculum?

Kreative Kids Learning Center implements the nationally recognized and research based “Creative Curriculum.” Creative Curriculum is a child-driven approach that focuses on developing the child physically, cognitively and emotionally. The Center’s approach is consistent with the objectives of the Illinois Early Learning Standards.

Has the program been independently assessed for quality of service?

Kreative Kids Learning Center is recognized as a Gold Circle of Quality Center by Excelerate Illinois, the Illinois State Quality Rating System for childcare. The Gold Circle is the highest level of achievement awarded to childcare facilities.

Scholarship Assistance Plans

United Way Funded

The Center is committed to empowering families to achieve financial independence while maintaining their children in quality childcare. Through the support of the United Way of Greater St. Louis, the Center provides scholarship funds to families who lose eligibility for Illinois Child Care subsidy. When the Center receives notice from the subsidy program that a family’s income exceeds eligibility levels, the family will be offered a scholarship that increases their former co-payment amount by fifteen percent (15%).

Gold Circle Funded

The Center supports middle income families who are not eligible for Illinois Child Care subsidy and yet need assistance to pay the regular fees charged by the Center. Families whose income and family size warrant scholarship assistance will be provided a scholarship amount based on income and family size. Families are required to demonstrate proof of income to qualify for scholarship. Scholarship eligibility is reviewed every six months.
